I really like this bird. It has character. The colours are bright and the design makes it stand out. Even among other Toikka Birds. All the finnfest birds are great.
Shipping to really long this time (3 months!) but that is because of the Covid-19 Pandemic and the lack of airmail.
Blackburnian wharbler, 'sparrenzanger' in Dutch. In Europe - we live in the Netherlands - an rare astray, special blown in glass for the American market. Thus we made our order in the USA, at GlassBirds.com. Vere fast shipment: within two weeks we received the package, well cared for.
(Small warning: clearance costs amounts approximately $ 150 for a shipment from Minneapolis to Amsterdam, but... that's worth it!)
Though designed to sit on a surface, it settles into the coves of my palms perfectly. A cuddly glass sculpture is surprising. Beautiful too.
I liked my Toikka bird very much. Thank you Natalie careful packing. Custom fee was ok,
but I was suprised that the VAT fee was so high.
Still everything went smoothly and Iam happy.Thank you :)
